My experience with Modern Musician has been amazing. That's almost an understatement, because in some ways it's been life changing. I love how much they all truly care about you and your progress - because they've all been there themselves. I love the fact that Michael and the whole team cares to make improvements ALL the time on their software, in their teachings and always strives to do better in every aspect. They ask for feedback daily, on their page, after every coaching call etc. And they make actual changes for the better (constantly) because of it! That's how you know they care. I am a rising artist and started the Gold Master mind course not knowing what to expect. Not even knowing if it was a legitimate learning opportunity or not. Hi. My name it Morgan Englund. About four years ago I left my job as a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Los Angeles to see if it was possible for a guy in his late 50's to make a living as a songwriter. I researched music marketing and took several courses... post here, post there, get on spotify, what about youtube... Instagram, facebook.... But how do I make a living? Modern Musician Last spring when we realized we would not be on the road for the first summer since about 1999 we figured we need to do something productive for our business. We have been in our band for 30 years and touring with that band since for 20 of those years. Our band and music has been our sole method of income since 2003 so not touring in the summer last year was a big chunk of lost income. I have been seriously creating music for about 1 year and growing my fanbase on a bunch of platforms. I was on my artist grind... but I really wasn't making much money from my passion. My experience with Modern Musician has been absolutely game-changing. I signed up for their gold artist program three months ago, and at the time I was afraid to part with my $5000. The experience has been worth five times that much. The skills and tools I've been given over the last three months are groundbreaking. Everything from discovering and developing my artist identity and continuously getting in touch with my driving purpose for making music - to learning how to market my songs to an engaged fanbase, honed in through the most up to date advertising tools. And ultimately tapping into a fully automated system that allows me to focus on the craft I love rather than spending all day at the computer. First of all, I've done quite a few coaching programs in and around the area of music marketing. Some have been ok, others not so much. With Michael and the team at Modern Musician, I've found not only a coaching program with a methodology that truly works, but a community of like minded people looking to continue to learn, grow and help each other.
