Broadway B

Broadway B

Broadway B is a Southern Soul Pop singer who has rocked stages at iconic venues all over Los Angeles. His sound blends smooth R&B vocals with pop production, infused with touches of country and rock. Broadway B’s mission is to create music that speaks to the struggles and triumphs of everyday life — from grinding to achieve something greater, to overcoming heartbreak, to finding joy on the other side. His live performances are defined by his velvet vocals, magnetic stage presence, and his passion for bringing the audience into the experience. His musical journey began at 5 years old in North Carolina, singing in church. Then in high school he fell in love with rap and soon discovered that he could impress his peers with his talent for writing clever lyrics. That love of wordplay carried him into early opportunities, including opening for acts like Rich Homie Quan and Twista. But those who knew him best always encouraged him to sing more. After experiencing heartbreak, finally, Broadway had something to sing about and returned to that first love; this time with the life experience and emotional depth to make his voice resonate even more. That return to singing led him to incredible opportunities like sharing bills with major artists like Rachel Platten, 112, and NEXT. Influenced by a wide spectrum of artists — ranging from The Tempations, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to Brian McKnight and John Legend, and from Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Drake and J. Cole to genre-blenders like Shaboozey and Post Malone — Broadway has developed a sound and perspective that reflect his diverse musical upbringing. In June 2025, he took a leap of faith and quit his job to pursue music full time, determined to chase his dreams wholeheartedly. His goal is not only to leave a lasting impact on listeners through his songs, but also to empower other musicians along the way. That passion fuels his work as a host and curator of showcases across Los Angeles – from Writers Round LA to Monday Monday at Hotel Café — as well as his podcast What’s The Key?, a resource for musicians powered by musicians who have unlocked pieces of the industry puzzle. Broadway B is just getting started, but his journey already carries the conviction of an artist who knows where he’s going and who wants to bring others along for the ride.
